FEES

We always try our utmost to maintain our fees at the most competitive rates, whilst providing customers with the best possible service.  We never ask for cash up front, only when an assignment is fully completed and to the satisfaction of the customer.

WE DO NOT CHARGE A CALL-OUT FEE AND ALSO APPLY A NO FIX - NO FEE POLICY

The following is a breakdown of our current charges:

For routine call-outs and non-project related assignments, the first hour is charged at
£35 (minimum charge).  For every successive hour, the rate reduces to £30 per hour and is calculated on a 15 minute interval.

EXAMPLE:  A technician is called to deal with a software problem that takes 1 Hour 30 minutes to complete.  The cost of the call will be £35 for the first hour (minimum) plus £15 for the additional 30 minutes, making a total charge of £50.

Where it is necessary to acquire replacement parts, the cost of the parts will be added to the final invoice and be listed as individual items.

We do our best to keep time periods to a minimum, and in the majority of cases
most common computer problems can be dealt with within the first hour however, depending on the complexity of the problem and the overall condition of the computer, that period may be extended.

SOFTWARE BUNDLE INSTALLATION

For those customers requiring a complete Windows and Software Application installation, we can offer a bundled installation for a one-off fee of £125.  Such installations are best carried out at our office, and therefore collection and delivery of machines is FREE!

This installation does not include the cost of a Windows-based Operating System
(Customers must either provide their own genuine copy of Windows or a version can be purchased on their behalf)

On return of the completed installation, we will at no extra charge re-connect the computer to any existing Internet connection.

The bundled installation will also include the provision of a full back-up "Image" of the completed installation.  This will enable users to be able to recover their systems back to a factory default state should the Windows Operating System fail at any time in the future.  A "Recovery Boot Disk" will be supplied FREE! of charge in order that the recovery process can completed.

Please note that any Windows/Software installation will be dependent on the hardware capabilities of each individual computer, and on occasions it may be necessary to carry out some form of minor upgrade in order carry out a specific software installation.  This may take the form of installing additional RAM memory or increasing the size of the hard drive to accommodate the addition software.  If any of these factors are likely to apply, they will be brought to the attention of the customer and before any installation takes place.

REMOTE ACCESS SERVICE

For customers who require a more hands-on style of support, we are able to offer a "Remote Access" service. This enables a technician to login to a customer's computer from our office and carry out troubleshooting and other miscellaneous software related tasks.  This can often result in problems being resolved in a shorter space of time, than if an appointment is made for a technician to make a visit to a customer's premises. It can also be extremely cost-effective.

For an annual fee of £50, a customer can receive an unlimited amount of "Remote Access" support connections.  Many companies charge a monthly fee at much higher rates than us.

N.B. Software installation fees are based on the installation of software that has been supplied by the customer.  If software or Windows Operating System installations are required, and it is necessary for us to supply the relevant software, there will be additional charges for the supply of each individual software package, which we can purchase on behalf of a customer.  As qualified System Builders we are able to acquire various software packages at competitive prices.

PROJECT INSTALLATIONS

Projects, such as networking which will normally require more complex work, will be the subject of a FREE! planning service, which will include a survey and report detailing the estimated costs for the supply and installation of hardware, software, the installation process and any 0n-going maintenance or support that may be required on completion.
