Our fees have remained unchanged for the past three years, and continues to be one of the most competitive of hourly rates available in the North London Area. As we try our utmost to maintain prices at the most competitive rates during the current economic slump, we still provide our customers with the best possible service.  We rarely ask for money up front, but only when an assignment is fully completed and to the satisfaction of the customer.

WE DO NOT CHARGE CALL-OUT FEES AND ALSO APPLY A NO FIX NO FEE POLICY (Subject to the conditions shown below)

The NO FIX - NO FEE POLICY does not apply, when it is technically not possible to resolve a problem over which the technician has no control.  For example: Where a computer has become so seriously infected with a virus, spyware or the Operating System has become, and initial action does not repair the defect, and it is recommended that the Operating System be reinstalled, but the customer is unwilling for this course of action to be taken, a fee for the initial attempt to resolve the problem will be payable.  In addition, if the problem is Internet related and the fault is found to be due to a defective telephone / cable connection, or an account has not been activated by the Internet Provider (ISP), a fee for attendance will be payable.

The following is a breakdown of our current charges:

For routine call-outs and non-project assignments, the first hour is charged at £40 (minimum charge).  Every successive hour is calculated at 15 minutes intervals.

EXAMPLE:  A technician is called to deal with a software problem that takes 1 Hour 45 Minutes to complete.  The cost of the call will be £40 for the first hour (minimum) plus £30 for the additional 45 minutes, making a total charge of £70.  Where it is necessary to acquire replacement parts, the cost of the parts will be added to the final invoice and be listed as individual items.

All efforts are made to keep time periods to an absolute minimum, and in the majority of cases most common computer problems can be dealt with within the first hour, however, depending on the complexity of the problem and overall condition of the computer and software, that period may well be extended.

BASIC COMPUTER HEALTH CHECK

For users requiring a basic computer health check, which includes checking for viruses and system errors, we offer a FIXED FEE of £50 - No matter how long it takes.

WINDOWS BUNDLE INSTALLATION

For those customers requiring a complete Windows and Software Application installation, we offer a bundled installation for a FIXED FEE of £125.  This includes manually installing a Windows Operating System together with any software that the customer wishes to be included.  It also includes the hard drive being partitioned (electronically divided into sub-drives) which provides additional drive space to store personal data and a disaster recovery "Image". Where the final image is not too large, it is often possible to provide a backup of it on a DVD disk.

VIRUS REMOVAL SERVICE

Virus removal itself, can often be an unpredictable process, that can be completed fairly quickly or if the infection is deeply embedded in a system it can take several hours to clean a computer.  Even if the computer is thoroughly cleaned, there may be damage to the file system, requiring the Windows Operating System to be reinstalled. 

In order to give customers a better indication of the cost of removing viruses the following policy will apply:

The minimum cost will be £40 (1 Hour), but up to a maximum of £75 no matter how long it takes to clean a computer of the virus infection.  This policy will also apply, where due to damage caused by the virus it is necessary to reinstall the Windows Operating System in order to restore a computer back to its original working condition. N.B. It may be necessary to remove the defective computer to base to complete the latter.

ONE-TO-ONE TRAINING

For customers requiring One-to-One training as described in the training section the current cost is £30 per hour.

PROJECT WORK

Larger projects, such as a network installation or an office refurbishment where multiple computers are to be installed, will be carried out after a quote has been submitted to the satisfaction of the customer.
