COMPUTER AND LAPTOP REPAIRS

Computech 2000 Computer Services

It is fully recognised that any form of computer training will enhance a user's computing experience.  We believe that training is an extremely important factor, whether it involves advanced technical or basic user tuition.  One of the most important areas that many end-users can benefit from is, "How to care for and protect a computer system".  As a result, we offer One-to-One training to anyone wishing to learn more about the working of their computer, how to operate it effectively, and how to protect it from the common dangers associated with being connected to the Internet.

It is recommended that the training should start with a session covering how a computer works, learning how it starts up and learning how to deal with common problems when they occur, but more importantly where to locate useful information, when it comes to troubleshooting and rectifying those problems.

It is not intended to turn ordinary users into technicians overnight, but provide sufficient knowledge and confidence to deal effectively with some of the more common problems that can occur from time to time.  In doing so it is hoped that users will be able to carry out routine maintenance, without the need to spend large sums of money on unnecessary "Technician's Fees".

IF YOU DO NEED TO CALL A TECHICIAN TO DEAL WITH A PROBLEM - LET'S MAKE SURE THAT IT IS FOR SOMETHING THAT YOU DEFINITELY CANNOT RECTIFY YOURSELF

We will train you to carry out some of the more fundamental tasks associated with owning and maintaining a computer and include:

-  Carrying out routine maintenance on any Windows Operating System

-  Installing additional RAM memory in order to boost performance

-  Adding an additional hard drive to gain extra storage space

-  Installing a Windows Operating System from scratch

-  Installing a software application and test it

-  Effectively preventing viruses and spyware from entering a computer system
